How it works
Court Carousel is a free web app for pickleball open play, club nights and round robins. Fair court rotation for pickleball groups: new partners, new opponents and even rests every round. Share a code and everyone sees their court on their phone.
For players
- Open the link or enter the code your organizer shares. No account, no download.
- Tap your name once. From then on your court lights up every round.
- Keep the page open. It updates by itself when the next round starts, and chimes when the round timer runs out if sound is on.
Resting? The page says so, and you're back in next round. Nobody rests twice before everyone has rested once.
For organizers
- Create a free account with Google, Microsoft or an email and password.
- Add a group – a name and the number of courts – and paste your roster, one name per line. You only do this once.
- On game day, tick who's here and press Start Game. Late arrivals and guests can be added any time.
- Share the code. Show the QR on your phone or send the link; everyone sees their court live.
- Between rounds: press Next Round. Swap a resting player with someone on court by tapping both names, mark people who left, change the court count, or go back a round.
Tick Let anyone with the code run the game when starting and players can press Next Round themselves while you're on court.
What it balances
- Everyone plays the same number of games and rests the same number of times.
- New partners and new opponents each round, as far as the numbers allow.
- Everyone rotates across the courts; nobody is parked on court 4 all night.
- No scores and no rankings – this is for social play.
Good to know
- Works for 4 to 150 players on 1 to 30 courts, on any phone or laptop browser.
- Shared round timer with a chime, so everyone changes courts together.
- Invite co-organizers by email; they can run game days too.
- Also fine for other doubles sports played in fours, such as padel, badminton and tennis.
